Rin’s Adventures: Epilogue
Rin barely made the trip back up Frost Peak, but seeing Falcon’s suit ahead of her kept her going. Just as her tail felt ready to fall off the massive steel doors loomed before her, opening to welcome her and the others home. “I should go to Doctor Silver,” she said. “Hopefully he can do something for Kiki, and me too.”
“Looks like someone’s waiting for us,” Falcon said, pointing to where Binermas and a crowd of Miratans stood by the medical complex. Five armor suits stood in the back, their weapons held low but tracking the group. “Sir, mission accomplished.”
“I see you lost a soldier,” Binermas said. “But it would seem your mission was successful.”
“Yes Sir,” Rin saluted. “The Primordial is sealed, and we brought back the keys to its prison. I’m sure you’ll be able to learn a lot from studying them. Nashta trusted us to keep them safe.”
“Who is Nashta?”
“A dridder who helped us in sealing the enemy’s prison Sir,” Falcon answered. “I was as shocked as the rest of us when she appeared, but she was as focused on the mission as I was. Once the seal was repaired she left, saying she would be watching.”
“And you simply let her go? You didn’t even sieze her weapon?” Binermas asked with a frown.
“Based on her capabilities Sir, I didn’t want to risk a second battle with my current forces exhausted and injured. I simply returned a battlefield favor. If I meet her again I will make every effort to acquire her weapons technology.”
“Very well Captain. Cadet Rin, you appear to have performed well on your first group mission, as well as preserving the security of this base. I had my doubts about you, but based on the data Captain Falcon transmitted on his approach you have proven your loyalty to the Miratan Armed Forces. I am issuing you a field promotion to Trooper. Congratulations, you are now an official member of the military.”
“Thank you Sir,” Rin managed to salute. “But does this mean I’ll have to leave Felarya?”
The thought of leaving, potentially before even being allowed to visit Terra, terrified Rin.
“Perhaps in the future, but for now you are more valuable to us here. Your acquisitions of artifacts and your contacts in the surrounding lands have proven a great asset. I am assigning you as the Field Ambassador to Felarya. It will be your duty to acquire data and technology for our forces, as well as make contact with beings who can provide data and other useful abilities to our cause,” Binermas said.
“I accept Sir!” Rin smiled despite the pain. “But for now, permission to report to the doctor and see how interesting a specimen I am.”
“Permission granted,” Binermas allowed a small smile to appear on his face. “Keep up the good work trooper.”
“Yes Sir,” Rin nodded before moving over to where Doctor Silver was waiting for her. “I hope I can provide you with some interesting data.”
“Oh I am sure you will Mr. Rin,” the doctor replied. “Your monitoring device has already transmitted its data to us, and I will go over it soon.”
“I’d also like to ask you for a favor,” Rin said, gesturing to Kiki’s frozen body. “My friend Kiki was taken over by a shard of another being who greatly altered her body and magic. I had to shoot her to protect Falcon and the others, but I KNOW she’s still alive in my ice spell. Please, can you try and find a way to help her?”
“Ah, you present me with yet another challenge Ms. Rin,” the doctor smirked. “Very well, I am willing to take on a second interesting specimen.”
Rin nearly hugged the doctor, but quickly remembered his temper. “Thank you Doctor.”
“Now then, let’s have a look at you. It seems you’ve gotten yourself into quite the altercation. I’ll have to put you out while we run some tests. It shouldn’t take more than a few hours, and when we wake you I hope to have some preliminary results on your iced friend.”
“All right,” Rin nodded. She lay on her back as gently as she could, wincing as her broken ribs protested. As she felt the prick of a needle and her eyes began feeling heavy, her last thought before sleep claimed her was how happy she was to be home.

Tia meets Kale (Part 1)
A little girl is hurrying back to her home in the forest, having failed to find any food. She has shoulder length black hair and blue eyes, rubbing her arms trying to warm herself from the winter air. She was only 6 years old and the home she was running to was actually a cave where she lives on her own. Her parents died when she was 5, and the orphanage was a bad place where the adults where mean to the children. She ran away from the place only a week of staying there.
Tia didn't really like winter that much, and it was even worse on her feet since she didn't have any shoes. She was wearing some fur from animals that she's skinned before,

The Starving, the Snake and the Snotty
After days of blazing heat, the temperature had decreased from high to low thirties, and the forecast for the hills surrounding the quiet suburb of Silvania Woods was “sunny with winds”, with temperatures reaching thirty-two at the highest. It was the perfect day to go out hiking, which was what Amanda Rodgers had wanted to do. Instead, she was in the city, a few blocks down from the park where her friend Tabby had texted her to head to. Amanda sighed as stopped at a street crossing and she glanced over to the hills at the edge of the horizon. At least she’d get a decent walk in while heading to meet her friends.

The Dridder and the Naga
STORY 34
The little dridder scuttled over the worn paving stones of the empty street, between the crumbling ruins of long-abandoned buildings. The fresh scent of running water drifted on the faintest of breezes, and as she turned into a sidestreet of the dead city, the river came into view. She paused, cautiously, testing the way ahead with her senses. She felt no immediate threat, and, reassured, hurried forward, chitinous legs clicking on the uneven stone.
Although she was a giant dridder, she was small, even for her age. A mere child still, eight years old, she was dark of skin, with pale pink eyes, and pinkish-white hair tumbling messi

My, I loved the story! The final battle was epic and it was really powerful but sad moment when Rin had to shoot her friend. Ending was really satisfying
